Overview
In this role you will support modification evaluation, safety assurance, and implementation for rolling stock projects. You will work with the central engineering team and depot-level teams to manage changes, update maintenance instructions, and assess impact on reliability, maintainability, and safety. You will contribute to software updates for rolling stock and lead or participate in meetings with stakeholders. This is a hands-on, cross-functional engineering role within a culture that values diversity and problem solving.
Responsibilities
- Review approved modification for safety assurance and implementation
- Assist with modification evaluation, engineering change and change request with central engineering team
- Support modification implementation at the depot level
- Write and modify vehicle maintenance instructions, service, and technical bulletins
- Analyze impact of modifications on reliability, maintainability, and safety on the rolling stocks
- Support rolling stock software updates and upgrades
- Responsible for internal and external stakeholder meetings to manage modification and engineering change requests regularly.
