At Quest Global, UK, we are looking for a senior engineer to lead the mechanical integration of all train systems into a fully coordinated 3D model, supported by the associated installation drawings for one of our Rolling stock / Rail Transport projects. The role would act as the focal point for integrating inputs from the various system engineering disciplines, coordinating activity across a multidisciplinary group of around 30 people. The individual would also interface closely with a third-party team in Hitachi Rail Italy responsible for detailed modelling and drawing production.
- Hands-on experience in Rolling Stock Mechanical systems integration
- Good knowledge on the different systems of Rolling Stock
- Experience working with customer system design vendors
- Problem resolution experience in the areas of design integration and clashing, stack-up calculations and root cause analysis of the engineering problems
Work Experience Skills:
- He / She should have hands-on experience in Design of mechanical systems
- Experience in handling the engineering data using CREO and GPLM PLM
- Experience in RAIL / ROLLING STOCK MECHANICAL SYSTEMS
- Good experience in working with cross-functional teams and Integration engineering teams
- Ability to identify the root cause of the errors and issue resolution experience
