As a Mechanical Engineer you will provide mechanical engineering expertise, resolve integration and design issues, and support cross-pillar technical problem solving.

What You Will Do

  • Foster collaboration across engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive project delivery and technical alignment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing clear communication and technical insight to support project progress and business development.
  • Apply relevant procedures, codes, and standards rigorously to all engineering activities, ensuring compliance and technical excellence.
  • Lead the production and review of engineering outputs including calculations, drawings, models, and reports while maintaining design integrity throughout the lifecycle.
  • Identify and manage project risks, contribute to safety assessments, and support continuous improvement through technical evaluations and process enhancements.

What Will You Bring

  • Proven experience delivering engineering activities across the full project lifecycle, from concept design through to implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams, contributing to complex technical solutions and project outcomes.
  • Strong track record of producing and reviewing detailed engineering documentation, including calculations, drawings, and technical reports.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders and customers to resolve technical and delivery challenges.
  • EngTech Level 4+ technical delivery experience.

Desired Experience

  • Army vehicle background, MOD/DE&S knowledge, support management, asset management, military equipment experience, stakeholder management.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) for this role.

Work Experience Key Technical/Professional Competencies

  • Good knowledge on various manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in lean & 5S management.
  • Exposure to Aero/Auto industry is preferred.
  • Awareness of aerospace/auto quality requirements (AS9100, OSHAS, TS 16949, various ISO).

Education & Professional Qualification

  • Graduate/Post Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum hands-on experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Project management experience is a must.

  • Willing to travel to the Customer site & Service providers, as required.
  • Proactive approach and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Multifaceted.
