As an Information Management Consultant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks relating to the planning, design, implementation, and monitoring of strategies with our team as we undertake a digital transformation. The role includes:
- Collating and assessing existing plans and strategies from a range of stakeholders.
- Elaborating on strategies, bringing cross-industry best practice, specifically incorporating Building Information Modelling (BIM) concepts and practices.
- Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to gain consensus on developed strategy.
- Working across all departments to embed the strategy whilst also supporting ongoing activities critical to site operation.
- Assessing the potential risks of specific projects, as well as undertaking risk management in specialist roles.
- Communicating and liaising effectively with colleagues across Engineering disciplines.
- Thinking both creatively and logically to resolve design and development problems.
- Being adaptable, as project requirements evolve, and ensuring relevant parties are notified of changes in the project.
- Compiling, checking and approving reports.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with facilities engineering discipline leads to obtain engineering assistance required, define activities and jointly establish Statement of Work.
- Collaborate with client leadership to ensure goals of engagement are fulfilled, new ideas are discussed and Workstream expansion Plans implemented.
- Manage workload planning & scheduling, resource management, and generation of engineering estimates as part of work packaging.
- Drive customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction.
Software Skills:
- Microsoft Office tools
- AutoCAD (Awareness)
- Vault (Awareness)
- Revit (Awareness)
Domain Knowledge:
- Good understanding of Project life cycle from concept, commissioning to operations and maintenance.
- Technical knowledge and understanding of various engineering disciplines and interfaces.
- Experience in design and construction phases especially in dock environment will be an added advantage.
- Building Information Modelling (BIM) practices.
Desired Skills:
- Good communication skills - Makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens effectively; clarifies information as needed.
- Ability to handle discussions/communications independently.
- Works in a collaborative environment.
Due to the nature of work, candidates should be UK citizens/EU citizens/valid work permit holders.
