At Quest Global, UK, we are actively looking for Stress Engineers with Gas Turbine experience for one of our Aerospace and Defence projects based in Derby.

Role Purpose

To perform stress activities, carrying out challenging analysis and calculations on a wide range of state-of-the-art aerospace components. The role offers opportunities for developing skills, knowledge and experience in this exciting industry. The Stress Team delivers engineering solutions for the customers' specialist component areas. This role requires a broad knowledge of a range of engineering commodities within gas turbines and/or other aerospace projects and the ability to understand and assess the mechanical integrity of the components under analysis.

Job Requirement

Stress experience on aero gas turbine or naval marine commodities is preferred.

Principal Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  • Delivering design solutions by carrying out structural & thermal analysis of aero engine and/or naval marine components.
  • Linear/Nonlinear stress analysis of rotating/static components.
