At Quest Global, we are hiring a Stress Engineer for one of our aerospace customers at Derby. This is a 12-month contract, Outside IR35 and Hybrid (3 days per week office).
Role Overview
We are seeking a Stress / Finite Element Analyst to take ownership of structural analysis activities on gas turbine components. The successful candidate will have strong expertise in FEA, materials behaviour, and life assessment, with experience working on rotating and structural parts in aerospace applications. This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, technical documentation, and presentation of analysis results to both internal and external stakeholders.
You will be working with the industry's largest OEM on projects and deliverables closely aligned with their long term and continued success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead stress analysis of assigned components, ensuring compliance with all technical, fit, form, and functional requirements.
- Perform detailed 2D and 3D FEA.
