The Commissioning Engineer SCADA is responsible for testing, commissioning, and integrating SCADA systems for HV substations, ensuring safe, reliable monitoring, control, data acquisition, remote operation, and cybersecurity compliance in accordance with project and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform site-based testing and commissioning of SCADA systems for HV substations.
  • Configure, test, and validate communication protocols including IEC 60870 - 5 - 104 and OPC UA / A&C.
  • Verify correct operation of remote controls.

Work Environment:

  • HV substations during construction, outage, and commissioning phases.
  • Onshore: 10 hrs/day, 6 days/week, 11-day fortnight rotation.
  • Offshore: 12 hrs/day, 14-day rotation.
