- The Test Development Engineer needs to validate requirements and verify product features in the control and protection system for VSC and LCC schemes.
- Dynamic and proactive with ability to work on own or as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team to resolve technical issues.
- You will play a key role in the product test cycle and collaborate as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team.
- The role is accountable for business-critical development to meet product requirements and timelines for future commercial HVDC projects.
- Conducting verification and validation testing to ensure designs meet performance and reliability requirements.
- Applying best engineering standards and developing practices to ensure tests comply with relevant health & safety and international standards.
- Ability to translate high level design requirements into efficient and robust test implementations.
- High-speed digital hardware design and PCB layout skills.
- Scripting experience using Perl, Python.
