A Stress Engineer/Analyst plays a crucial role in the Aerospace and Defense industry, ensuring that all products and processes meet the highest quality standards. At Quest Global we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Stress Engineer/Analyst to join our team.
As a Stress Engineer/Analyst, Stress Engineer to work as part of a team on all phases of the project life cycle including design, demonstration, development, production and customer support. As a Stress Engineer you will be responsible for performing stress and structural analyses to ensure the integrity and performance of the design meets all required standards, so a strong mathematical emphasis is required.
Key Responsibilities:
β The ability to plan and execute tasks to achieve timescales and costs in conjunction of designated KPIs
β The ability to own problems and provide pragmatic engineering solutions to challenging timescales and budgets
β Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative design solutions that meet customer requirements and project objectives.
β Attend PDR, DDR reviews to provide detail report
β Generate detailed technical reports and documentation to communicate analysis results and recommendations.
β Participate in design reviews andprovide technical expertiseto support the development and improvement.
β Conduct thorough Analysis andinvestigationsof non-conformance issues, includingroot cause analysisand failure mode analysis.
β Monitor and track the progress of corrective actions, ensuring timely completion and effectiveness.
-Provide technical expertiseand guidance to resolve non-conformance issues and improve overall product quality.
β Maintain accurate documentation of non-conformance reports,investigations, and corrective actions.
Work Experience
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
β Proficient inStress Analysispackages (ex :ANSYS, MSCNASTRAN, AltairHyperMesh), ideallyANSYS
β Experience in the analysis of complex engineering structures
β Expert knowledge in conventional (hand calculation) techniques forstatic analysis
β Proficient knowledge of numerical (finite element) techniques forstatic analysis
β Experience in structural Analysis of mechanical components, parts, assemblies and subassemblies for heavy industry,power transmissionsystems, gear and Gear box
β Candidate should be familiar with structural analysis practices and methodologies, including significant structural redesigns.
Requirements
β Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering or a related field.
β Previous experience in a similar role within the Aerospace and Defense industry.
β Experience in heavy engineering industry,power transmissionsystems,gearsand gear box
β Strong knowledge of quality management systems and industry standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001)
β Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards.
