We are currently recruiting for an experienced Chef to join a welcoming residential care home in Stocksbridge, Sheffield (S36). This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who enjoys creating fresh, nutritious meals and understands the important role food plays in the wellbeing of residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking high-quality meals for residents
- Catering for a variety of dietary and nutritional requirements
- Ensuring meals are presented to a high standard
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Assisting with stock control and food ordering
- Completing food safety and compliance documentation
- Working closely with the care team to support residents' needs
- Ensuring all Health & Safety and COSHH procedures are followed
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Chef or Cook within a care home
