Quest Employment are recruiting for an experienced Workshop / Production Manager to join a well-established woodworking and manufacturing business in Northampton. This is a key leadership role, responsible for coordinating between the office-based team and the workshop to ensure smooth production flow, efficient planning, and on-time delivery of high-quality products.
The Role
As Workshop / Production Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the workshop and production schedule. Your duties will include:
- Acting as the key link between office and workshop teams
- Planning and prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met
- Managing workshop operations and daily production activity
- Supervising, training, and developing workshop staff
- Monitoring production progress and ensuring jobs are completed on time
- Managing stock levels and supporting materials control
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and organisation
- Ensuring all Health and Safety regulations are adhered to
