The Role
- Delivering, installing, assembling, and adapting refrigerated display equipment at customer locations throughout the UK.
- Combining site-based installation work with workshop and warehouse assembly duties during quieter periods between installations.
- Comfortable with regular travel and overnight stays when required, typically averaging 12 nights away per week.
- Loading and unloading equipment safely using forklifts and manual handling methods.
- Assembling and setting up display units to specification.
- Identifying and resolving on-site technical or quality issues.
- Completing installation paperwork and records accurately.
- Assisting with workshop assembly and wider operational tasks when needed.
Requirements
- At least 5 years experience in installation, engineering, construction, refrigeration, or a similar hands-on environment.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel across the UK and stay away overnight when required.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to carry out manual handling tasks.
- A flexible approach to working hours, including occasional weekend work.
- Background in refrigeration or electrical work.
- Forklift licence.
- Training in: Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling.
