The Role\n As a Sewing Machinist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality fabric components and finished products to customer specifications. The role will involve working with a range of materials and operating industrial sewing machines to achieve accurate, consistent results. \n Key responsibilities include: \n \n Operating industrial sewing machines safely and efficiently. \n Sewing and assembling fabric components to required specifications. \n Following patterns, drawings, measurements and production instructions. \n Measuring and cutting materials accurately where required. \n Checking finished products for quality, accuracy and consistency. \n Identifying and correcting defects or imperfections. \n Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail. \n Working to production targets while maintaining quality standards. \n Handling different fabrics and materials carefully to prevent damage. \n Keeping the work area clean, organised and safe. \n Working as part of a wider production team to meet daily requirements. \n Following all company health
