Job Description Bench Joiner / Workshop Joiner\n Location: Kettering, NN16 \n Pay Rate: £14.00 - £17.00 per hour, depending on experience \n Annual Salary: £29,000 - £33,500 per annum, depending on experience \n Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm (7:00am start option available) \n Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent \n Start Date: Immediate Start Available Experienced Bench Joiner Required - Bespoke Joinery\n Quest Employment is currently recruiting for an experienced Bench Joiner / Workshop Joiner to join a well-established bespoke joinery manufacturer based in Kettering, NN16. \n This is an excellent permanent opportunity for a skilled joiner with previous joinery shop or workshop experience. The successful candidate will join a modern production factory, working as part of a skilled team producing high-quality bespoke joinery products. \n The role involves manufacturing bespoke windows, doors, stairs and general joinery using modern machinery. Candidates must be confident working from technical drawings and able to work independently in a fast-paced production environment. \Previous joinery shop or workshop experience is essential for this role. The Role\n As a Bench Joiner / Workshop Joiner, you will be responsible for manufacturing bespoke joinery products to a high standard, ensuring accuracy, quality and excellent craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities\n \n \n Manufacturing bespoke windows, doors, stairs and general joinery \n \n Reading and working from technical drawings \n \n Measuring, cutting, assembling and finishing timber components \n \n Operating joinery machinery, hand tools and workshop equipment \n \n Completing jobs accurately and efficiently \n \n Maintaining high standards of quality and craftsmanship \n \n Supporting the wider joinery team when required \n \n Keeping the workshop clean, organised and safe \n \n Following all site Health & Safety procedures \n Skills & Experience Required\n \n \n Minimum 1 year of joinery experience \n \n Previous Bench Joinery or Workshop Joinery experience is essential \n \n Experience working in a joinery shop, workshop or production environment \n \n Experience manufacturing bespoke joinery products \n \n Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings \n \n Experience using joinery machinery and workshop equipment \n \n Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship \n \n Ability to work independently and as part of a skilled team \n \n Reliable, hardworking and punctual \n \n Looking for a long-term permanent opportunity \n Ideal Candidate\n Candidates with previous experience in bespoke joinery manufacturing, particularly windows, doors, stairs and general timber products, will be well suited to this role. \n Carpentry experience would be beneficial, but proper joinery shop or workshop experience is essential.
