Job Description Counterbalance FLT Driver afternoon shift \n Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour \n Working Hours: Monday–Friday \n \n 2:00pm–10:00pm \n \n Job Type: Temporary to Perm – Ongoing \n Potential permanent opportunities for the right candidate The Role\n Quest Employment are currently recruiting for experienced Counterbalance FLT Drivers to join our client based in Wellingborough (NN8). \n You will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of trailers, ensuring accuracy, effective use of trailer space and full completion of digital documentation. The role also involves supporting the wider warehouse operation with manual duties, including picking and packing. Key ResponsibilitiesLoading\n \n Safely load customer collection vehicles. \n Load double- and triple-deck trailers. \n Maximise trailer space while maintaining safe loading practices. \n Ensure correct weight distribution across loads. \n Scan loaded orders using tablets and handheld scanners. \n Photograph completed loads as part of the documentation process. \n Unloading\n \n Safely unload supplier deliveries. \n Process customer returns accurately. \n Photograph and document unloaded deliveries. \n Identify and report damaged or non-compliant loads. \n Safely handle oversized and non-standard palletised loads, including loads up to 6 metres wide. \n Skills
