Key Responsibilities
As Chef, your duties will include
Preparing and cooking nutritious, high-quality meals for residents.
Supporting the Chef Manager in the day-to-day management of the catering team.
Ensuring high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and health & safety are maintained at all times.
Carrying out risk assessments and following food safety procedures.
Taking responsibility for the kitchen and catering team in the Chef Manager's absence.
Assisting with menu planning to provide varied, balanced meals that meet residents' dietary needs.
About You
The successful candidate will be an experienced Chef with a passion for quality food and excellent customer service.
Previous experience working as a Chef within hospitality, catering or a care environment.
A valid Food Hygiene Certificate.
City & Guilds 706/1 or NVQ Level 2 in Catering/Hospitality (or equivalent).
A genuine passion for preparing fresh, high-quality meals.
