Job Description Goods In Forklift Driver
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp to Perm
Shift: 8am-5pm - Monday-Friday
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Goods In Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse operation based in Wellingborough. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Counterbalance and Reach Truck experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and is looking for a long-term opportunity.
As a Goods In Forklift Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring all incoming deliveries are received, checked and stored accurately. You'll be responsible for operating forklift trucks safely, unloading deliveries, inspecting stock, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse.
Safely operate Counterbalance and Reach Truck forklifts. \Unload incoming deliveries from vehicles and containers using MHE or by hand where required. \Check deliveries against delivery notes and purchase orders. \Store stock safely in designated warehouse locations. \Maintain high housekeeping standards within the goods-in and warehouse areas. \Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies. \Report damaged goods or delivery issues to the Warehouse Management team. \Support other warehouse duties as required.
\Valid Counterbalance and Reach Truck licences. \training can be provided. \Previous Goods In or warehouse experience. \Good understanding of warehouse Health & Safety procedures. \Experience using handheld scanners or Warehouse Management Systems is beneficial. \Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures.
\Temp to Perm opportunity. \Full training and ongoing support. \Weekly pay while working through Quest Employment.
