About the Role
Quest Employment is recruiting for a highly organised and detail-oriented Logistics Co-ordinator / Warehouse Administrator to join a busy warehouse operation in Wellingborough. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with administration, logistics, supply chain, or warehouse coordination experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and being at the centre of daily operations. You will play a key role in coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, supporting customers, liaising with transport providers, and ensuring accurate administration of warehouse and logistics activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
- Schedule collections and deliveries, ensuring transport timelines are met
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, freight companies, drivers, and warehouse teams
- Act as a key point of contact for a number of customer accounts
- Track orders and resolve delivery or shipping issues
- Raise invoices for completed work
- Prepare and process shipping and transport documentation
- Book deliveries and collections via phone and email
- Maintain accurate inventory, shipment, and logistics records
- Complete data entry and administrative tasks accurately
- Greet drivers upon arrival, check documentation, and direct vehicles to the correct loading bays
- Ensure all inbound and outbound paperwork is completed correctly
- Maintain delivery and shipment logs
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the operation
- Provide administrative support to warehouse and management teams as required
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in logistics, warehouse administration, supply chain, or transport coordination
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Experience using warehouse management or ERP systems (such as Mintsoft) would be advantageous
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- A proactive and team-focused approach
