This isn't a warehouse operative role with the occasional stock count thrown in.
We're looking for someone whose experience is genuinely stock control focused.
Someone who enjoys investigating discrepancies, understands inventory inside out and takes pride in keeping stock files accurate from day one.
The hiring manager is keen to find someone who has worked in a dedicated Stock Controller or Inventory Controller position, rather than someone who's only carried out stock duties as part of a warehouse role.
If you've built your career around stock integrity, you'll fit right in.
You'll be trusted to work independently across the warehouse, carrying out cycle counts, investigating issues and ensuring inventory remains accurate across both the Warehouse Management System and ERP system.
Attention to detail and ownership are absolutely key.

- Experience carrying out stock investigations.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence working independently and taking ownership of their workload.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with multiple departments.
- A genuine passion for stock accuracy rather than general warehouse operations.
- Why you'll enjoy this role
You’ll be joining a warehouse where stock accuracy isn’t treated as an afterthought – it’s a priority.
The business is investing in building the right team from the ground up and wants people who take pride in getting things right first time.
You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own workload, the support of an experienced leadership team and the opportunity to play a key part in maintaining the integrity of the warehouse operation from day one.
If you’re the type of person who can’t walk past a stock discrepancy without wanting to find out why, this is the role for you.
