Quest Employment are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Administrator to join a busy warehouse operation based in Wellingborough. This is a great opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual with previous warehouse, logistics or transport administration experience. The successful candidate will support the smooth running of warehouse operations by maintaining accurate records, processing documentation, coordinating inbound and outbound activity, and ensuring all admin tasks are completed correctly and on time.
The Role
- Maintaining accurate stock records using Warehouse Management Systems
- Processing inbound and outbound paperwork, including delivery notes, pick lists and shipment manifests
- Preparing dispatch paperwork, labels and shipping documentation
- Updating WMS, ERP and Excel records accurately
- Supporting stock counts and investigating stock discrepancies
- Scheduling and confirming deliveries and collections with suppliers and transport partners
- Monitoring orders, system alerts and outstanding warehouse tasks
- Producing warehouse performance reports
- Acting as a key contact for transport companies, suppliers and internal teams
- Supporting Warehouse Supervisors and Team Leaders with administration and reporting
- Assisting with staff onboarding and training on warehouse systems and processes
- Keeping records organised to support compliance, audits and traceability
- Ensuring all administration is completed in line with company procedures
What We're Looking For
- Have previous experience in warehouse, logistics or transport administration
- Understand warehouse and logistics processes
- Have experience using WMS or ERP systems
- Are confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook and Word
- Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Are organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- Have strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Can work independently and meet deadlines
- Are proactive and willing to support continuous improvement
- Are reliable, punctual and professional
