Contract: Full-Time | Permanent About the Role Quest Employment is currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Stock Controller to join a busy warehouse operation in Wellingborough. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual who has experience working with stock, inventory systems, and warehouse operations. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring stock movements are recorded correctly to support the smooth running of the warehouse. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate stock levels through regular stock checks, cycle counts, and reconciliations. Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies quickly and accurately. Monitor inbound and outbound stock movements and update systems accordingly. Ensure stock is stored in the correct locations and maintain excellent bin accuracy. Update WMS/ERP systems with stock movements, adjustments, and corrections. Produce stock reports and assist with identifying shortages and recurring discrepancies. Support physical stock audits and annual stock counts. Work closely with Goods In and Goods Out teams to ensure stock is accurately received and dispatched. Identify and report damaged, slow-moving, obsolete, or quarantined stock. Ensure stock rotation procedures such as FIFO/FEFO are followed. Liaise with warehouse and management teams regarding stock availability and discrepancies. Work alongside Quality teams on returns, investigations, and quarantined stock. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment. Follow all company Health & Safety, compliance, and stock-handling procedures. What We're Looking For The successful candidate will ideally have: Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, or warehouse administration . Good understanding of warehouse processes and stock movements. Experience using WMS/ERP systems . Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Good numerical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to investigate discrepancies and identify potential root causes. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different teams. Ability to work accurately within a busy, fast-paced warehouse environment. A proactive approach with a strong work ethic.
