Quest Employment is looking for a Warehouse Operative Yard Shunter to join a busy logistics operation in Derby. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience working in a warehouse or yard environment who enjoys a varied role. You will be responsible for moving trailers safely around the yard while also supporting warehouse operations when required. The Role As a Warehouse Operative Yard Shunter, your responsibilities will include: Moving trailers safely between yard locations and loading bays Positioning trailers for loading and unloading Carrying out vehicle and equipment safety checks Supporting the warehouse team with loading, unloading, picking, and general warehouse duties during quieter periods Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment Following all site health and safety procedures What We're Looking For Previous experience in a warehouse, yard, or logistics environment Good awareness of health and safety Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and hardworking Flexible approach to supporting both yard and warehouse duties Own transport is highly desirable due to the remote location of the site and limited public transport links.
