Temporary Technical Assistant Food Manufacturing Temporary Position Full Time If you've worked in Technical within food manufacturing and like a role where no two days are quite the same, this could be a really good fit. We're looking for a Temporary Technical Assistant to support a busy Technical team across a broad mix of day-to-day activity. This is a proper generalist role, so you won't be boxed into one area. You'll be helping across quality, specifications, allergens, compliance and whatever else the Technical team needs support with. What you'll be doing You'll provide hands-on support across the Technical function, including: Assisting with quality and Technical administration Supporting product specifications and specification updates Helping with allergen validation and related checks Supporting quality documentation and compliance records Assisting with day-to-day Technical queries Helping prepare information for audits and customer requirements Working with wider site teams to make sure Technical information is accurate and up to date Supporting investigations, checks and general quality activity Picking up ad hoc Technical tasks as priorities change What we're looking for Ideally, you'll already have some experience within a food manufacturing or food production Technical environment and understand the basics around: Quality systems Product specifications Allergens Food safety Compliance Technical documentation You don't need to be a specialist in every single area. What matters more is that you've got broad Technical knowledge , you're organised, comfortable juggling different priorities and happy getting stuck in wherever the team needs support. You'll need to be accurate, practical and confident enough to ask questions rather than guess — because in food Technical, “that'll probably be fine” is rarely the best strategy. Why consider it?
