Quest Employment is currently recruiting! We are seeking a Warehouse Operative Yard Shunter to join a busy logistics site in Derby. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with warehouse or yard experience who is looking for a varied, hands-on role combining outdoor and indoor duties.

The Role

  • Safely moving trailers around the yard and into loading bays
  • Positioning trailers for efficient loading and unloading
  • Completing routine safety checks on vehicles and equipment
  • Assisting the warehouse team with loading, unloading, picking, and general duties during quieter periods
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
  • Following all site health and safety procedures at all times

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within a warehouse, yard, or logistics setting
  • Strong awareness of health and safety practices
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking approach
  • Willingness to support both yard and warehouse operations as required
  • Own transport is highly desirable due to limited public transport access to the site
