Quest Employment are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a well-established furniture manufacturing business based in Northampton. This is a hands-on role within a busy production environment, ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and takes pride in producing high-quality finished products. The role will mainly involve seat furniture assembly, with furniture assembly experience preferred.
The Role
- Assembling seat furniture and related products
- Supporting upholstery and finishing tasks where required
- Sewing or stitching fabric components where trained
- Using hand tools and machinery safely
- Checking finished products for quality and consistency
- Following production instructions accurately
- Keeping your work area clean, tidy and organised
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets
- Following all site health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Have previous production or manufacturing experience
- Have furniture assembly experience, preferred
- Have upholstery or sewing experience, desirable but not essential
- Have good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Can work at a steady pace in a production environment
- Are reliable, punctual and team-focused
- Are willing to learn and develop new skills
- Are flexible to complete overtime when required due to volume increases
