Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative

Location: Sandy, Bedfordshire
Pay Rate: £15.50–£16.00 per hour
Hours: 6:30am–6:30pm, working on a shift pattern including weekends
Contract: Temporary until the end of March, with the possibility of a permanent position

Quest Employment are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative.

The Role

• Operating a counterbalance forklift both inside and outside the warehouse.
• Moving products and stock around the warehouse and outdoor areas.
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Handling products in a cold working environment.
• Carrying out general warehouse duties, including moving, loading and unloading stock.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
• Supporting the wider warehouse team as required.

Requirements

• A valid counterbalance forklift licence with a recognised, in-date qualification is essential.
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and in a cold environment.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.
