Job Description
Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance Forklift Driver
Pay Rate: £14.00 - £15.00 per hour
Contract: Temporary Seasonal Role (Approximately until October)
Quest Employment are currently recruiting experienced Warehouse Operatives with a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence to join a busy warehouse team in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a clean, modern warehouse with a friendly and hardworking team, offering fixed shifts and consistent work throughout the busy season.
Shift Patterns:
- Option 1: Monday to Friday: 4:30am - 3:00pm, Saturday: 6:00am - 1:00pm
- Option 2: Monday to Friday: 3:00pm - 1:00am
Pay: £14.00 - £15.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving stock throughout the warehouse
- Picking and packing customer orders
- General warehouse duties
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Supporting the wider warehouse team where required
Essential Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (must be in date and refreshed within the last 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year's Counterbalance Forklift experience
- Happy to carry out both forklift driving and general warehouse duties
- Own transport is essential (must not rely on taxis)
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- High-visibility vest and safety boots are required
