We're looking for a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Operative who takes pride in keeping buildings, grounds and facilities safe, tidy and running smoothly. This is a varied role where no two days are the same. One day you could be carrying out building repairs, the next painting and decorating, maintaining site grounds, completing compliance checks or helping improve facilities across the site.

What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across buildings and site facilities.
- Completing general repairs including carpentry, painting, decorating and basic building maintenance.
- Maintaining external areas including fencing, pathways, drainage, grounds and general site upkeep.
- Installing, repairing and moving fixtures, fittings and furniture as required.
- Conducting routine compliance and safety checks.
- Supporting the maintenance team with projects and site improvements.
- Assisting with the upkeep and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment.
- Working closely with contractors, colleagues and site users to ensure maintenance issues are resolved efficiently.
- Using hand tools, power tools and gardening equipment safely and effectively.
- Helping maintain a safe working environment and supporting emergency response procedures when required.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within facilities maintenance, site maintenance, building maintenance or a similar hands-on role.
- Practical skills across general repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Confidence using hand tools, power tools and maintenance equipment.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work.
- A good understanding of health and safety practices.
- Someone reliable, adaptable and happy to get stuck in wherever needed.
