The Role: We’re looking for a Technical Machine Operator to join our skilled production team. You’ll be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining our extrusion and processing lines, ensuring our cereals and toppings meet exacting quality standards in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate extrusion equipment and related machinery to produce cereals and toppings to specification
- Complete start-up, changeover, and shutdown procedures in line with production schedules
- Carry out in-process quality checks and record data accurately
- Perform basic fault-finding, adjustments, and routine maintenance to keep lines running smoothly
- Work closely with engineers and supervisors to resolve technical issues promptly
- Follow all health & safety, hygiene, and food safety guidelines
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in food manufacturing (extrusion experience highly desirable)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of production machinery
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Comfortable working rotating shifts
- Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team
