We are looking for an experienced and motivated Head Installer to join our growing team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, outstanding customer service, and leading installations to the highest professional standards.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • Pay rate £14.42/h
  • Start times vary between 8:00am or 9:00am
  • Finish times dependent on workload/job completion (37.540 hours per week)
  • Optional overtime available on Saturdays

Role Overview

As a Head Installer, you will be responsible for leading and carrying out loft installations safely, efficiently, and professionally. You will manage installations from arrival on site through to customer sign-off, ensuring every job is completed right first time. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong leadership skills, and the ability to maintain high standards while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and complete loft installations to company quality standards
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and professionally
  • Protect customers' homes using dust sheets and safe working practices
  • Deliver excellent customer service throughout every installation
  • Maintain exceptional standards of workmanship and attention to detail
  • Ensure all work areas are left clean and tidy upon completion
  • Prevent unnecessary revisits by completing jobs correctly first time
  • Ensure PPE, tools, materials, and equipment are used correctly
  • Support and lead installation team members on site
  • Complete all required paperwork, photographs, and customer sign-off procedures
  • Communicate effectively with customers and office staff throughout the day

Daily Duties

  • Arrive at the depot before 7:00am to load materials and equipment
  • Check all tools, PPE, consumables, and materials before departure
  • Contact customers with estimated arrival times
  • Inspect and photograph any existing damage before work begins
  • Fit loft hatches, ladders, and architrave neatly and accurately
  • Clean all work areas thoroughly after installation
  • Remove all rubbish and waste materials from site
  • Demonstrate completed work to customers and ensure satisfaction
  • Upload installation photographs and report completion status to the office
  • Follow all health & safety procedures and PPE requirements at all times
