We are recruiting for an experienced Butcher to join a busy and well-established Farm Shop in Banbury. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meat products while providing advice and recommendations to customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous retail butchery experience who enjoys working with quality produce and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.

  • Preparing, cutting, trimming, boning, and portioning a range of meat products
  • Serving customers and providing advice on products, cuts of meat, and cooking methods
  • Stock rotation and inventory control
  • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety
  • Previous experience working as a Butcher
  • Experience within a retail butchery or customer-facing butcher shop environment
  • Strong knife skills and knowledge of meat preparation techniques
  • Experience preparing and presenting meat products for retail sale
  • Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety regulations
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
  • Flexible to work weekends as part of a rota
