Shifts / Hours: Day Shifts: - Sunday to Thursday: 11:00 – 20:00 - Tuesday to Saturday: 11:00 – 20:00
Night Shifts: - Sunday to Thursday: 20:00 – 06:00
Job Description: Quest Employment is currently recruiting for Reach Truck Drivers / MHE Warehouse Operatives to join our client's busy warehouse and distribution operation based in Corby, NN17. The site specialises in the storage and distribution of chilled, frozen and ambient food products. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating a Reach Truck safely and efficiently, moving and storing pallets, supporting warehouse operations and assisting with the movement of stock throughout the facility. This role would suit reliable and experienced warehouse operatives who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment, including freezer areas.
Key Responsibilities: - Safely operating a Reach Truck within the warehouse. - Moving, stacking and relocating pallets. - Loading and unloading deliveries and containers. - Moving and storing stock within designated warehouse areas. - Supporting general warehouse duties when required. - Assisting with daily warehouse and distribution operations. - Following site health and safety and food hygiene procedures at all times. - Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
The Ideal Candidate: - Must hold a valid Reach Truck FLT license as a minimum. - Previous experience operating Reach Trucks. - Previous warehouse or MHE experience. - Comfortable working in a freezer environment. - Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures. - Reliable, punctual and hardworking. - Able to work independently and as part of a team. - Flexible and able to meet the requirements of the allocated shift pattern.
