Quest Employment is currently recruiting for experienced Forklift Drivers to join a busy and growing warehouse operation in Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with Counterbalance FLT experience who are looking for a stable night shift role within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The Role

As a Forklift Driver, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring products are moved, loaded, and dispatched safely and efficiently. The role involves a mixture of forklift work, manual handling, stock control, and general warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading deliveries using a Counterbalance forklift
  • Moving stock safely throughout the warehouse and yard
  • Picking and preparing customer orders for dispatch
  • Checking, labelling, and banding completed orders
  • Replenishing stock into storage locations and stillages
  • Supporting stock counts and stock control processes
  • Completing warehouse paperwork and documentation accurately
  • Carrying out general warehouse duties as required
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Following all Health & Safety procedures at all times

Requirements

  • Valid Counterbalance FLT licence
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to complete manual handling duties safely
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
