Quest Employment is recruiting an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver on behalf of a well-established business based in Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful company offering a permanent position with consistent weekday hours, competitive pay and a supportive working environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Operating an 18-tonne HIAB vehicle, delivering building materials safely and efficiently to customers across Northamptonshire and surrounding areas.
- Delivering building materials to construction sites, trade customers, residential addresses and new developments.
- Completing deliveries across Northamptonshire and neighbouring counties.
- Loading and unloading materials using HIAB equipment.
- Ensuring all loads are secured correctly before transport.
- Following all road transport legislation and company health and safety procedures.
- Maintaining a high standard of customer service at every delivery.
Requirements:
- A valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous HGV Class 2 delivery driving experience.
- A clean driving licence.
- A reliable, flexible and professional approach.
Additional Information:
- Occasional Saturday mornings (approximately one in every five weeks for around two hours).
