Forklift Engineer / Forklift Service Engineer Location: Northampton, NN4 Salary: £28,000 – £38,000 per annum, depending on experience Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm Contract: Full-time, Permanent Immediate start available Holiday: 22 days + Bank Holidays Overtime: Forklift Engineer – Northampton Quest Employment are recruiting for an experienced Forklift Engineer / Forklift Service Engineer to join a well-established operation based in Northampton, NN4. This is a permanent opportunity offering stable Monday-to-Friday hours, a salary of up to £38,000 depending on experience, overtime opportunities and long-term career stability . We are particularly interested in engineers with experience servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks, FLTs or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) . Servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and MHE Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and routine inspections Completing service and maintenance records accurately Forklift Engineer / Forklift Technician / FLT Engineer / MHE Engineer / Forklift Service Engineer Experience working with any combination of diesel, LPG, electric, counterbalance, reach trucks or other MHE would be highly desirable. Strong mechanical fault-finding skills Experience servicing and repairing mechanical equipment Basic electrical fault-finding knowledge A desire for a stable, long-term position Candidates from plant engineering, agricultural machinery, HGV, automotive or similar mechanical backgrounds may also be considered where they have strong transferable servicing and fault-finding experience.
