We are looking for a MIG Welder for the CV7 area in Coventry, CV7.

Quest Employment are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder to join a busy and growing business based in Coventry, CV7, working within a farm-based environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder looking for immediate start work. You will be working on the fabrication and repair of agricultural frames, jigs and metal components in a hands-on workshop setting.
The Role
- MIG welding steel frames, jigs and agricultural equipment
- Fabricating and repairing bespoke metal components to a high standard
- Reading and working from engineering drawings where required
- Preparing materials for welding and fabrication
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Inspecting completed welds to ensure quality standards are met
- Carrying out general workshop duties as required
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Following all Health & Safety procedures while working in a farm-based workshop
Key Skills and Experience
- Experienced in MIG welding
- Confident welding and fabricating steel frames and jigs
- Comfortable working in a farm or agricultural workshop environment
- Able to use a variety of hand and power tools
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
- Quality focused with excellent attention to detail
- Committed to maintaining high Health & Safety standards
- Previous experience within agricultural engineering, fabrication, manufacturing or a similar engineering environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
