We are looking for a MIG Welder for the CV7 area in Coventry, CV7.

Pay Rate: From £14.00 per hour

Shift: Day Shift Monday to Friday

Job Type: Temporary

MIG Welder Required

Quest Employment are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder to join a busy and growing business based in Coventry, CV7, working within a farm-based environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder looking for immediate start work. You will be working on the fabrication and repair of agricultural frames, jigs and metal components in a hands-on workshop setting.

The Role

  • MIG welding steel frames, jigs and agricultural equipment
  • Fabricating and repairing bespoke metal components to a high standard
  • Reading and working from engineering drawings where required
  • Preparing materials for welding and fabrication
  • Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Inspecting completed welds to ensure quality standards are met
  • Carrying out general workshop duties as required
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
  • Following all Health & Safety procedures while working in a farm-based workshop

Key Skills and Experience

  • Experienced in MIG welding
  • Confident welding and fabricating steel frames and jigs
  • Comfortable working in a farm or agricultural workshop environment
  • Able to use a variety of hand and power tools
  • Reliable, hardworking and punctual
  • Able to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Quality focused with excellent attention to detail
  • Committed to maintaining high Health & Safety standards
  • Previous experience within agricultural engineering, fabrication, manufacturing or a similar engineering environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
