Type: Temp to Permanent We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established engineering company.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to secure a long-term role with the potential to become permanent.
- Working Hours Choose from one of the following shifts: Monday
- Friday: 7:00am 3:00pm or
- Monday
Friday: 8:00am 4:00pm Salary £17.95 p/h Key Responsibilities Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on machinery and equipment.
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
Responding to breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
Installing, maintaining, and improving production machinery.
Working closely with production teams to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Completing maintenance records and ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.
Requirements Previous experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is essential.
A strong engineering background is required.
Proven experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A proactive approach with a strong commitment to health and safety.
