We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter for our client based in ST4. Our client is a leading manufacturer who are looking to expand their current team. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will play a crucial role in setting up machines and fixing breakdowns in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- 75% of the role will involve setting up extruders and cutting machines.
- 25% will involve maintenance and fixing machines when they breakdown.
- Maintaining a clean and organized working environment.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Working collaboratively with other team members.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Mechanical role would be preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Any welding, lathe or milling experience would be helpful.
Shifts: Monday-Friday
Hours: 7am - 3.45pm Monday to Thursday and 7am -12.45pm Friday
Pay: £13.62 per hour. Once trained pay will increase to £14.76 per hour.
