Location: Sheerness Docks, Kent (Workshop-based)
Assignment Length: Approx. 500 hours total
2 to 3 technicians required full-time
Estimated duration: 46 weeks
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
Pay Rates:
- Level 2: £15.00 per hour
- Level 3: £20.75 per hour
Job Purpose: To support manufacturer recall campaigns on Stellantis vehicles, ensuring all recall actions are completed accurately, safely, and in line with manufacturer and company standards. The role includes software updates, inspections, and light mechanical work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out recall work on Stellantis vehicles including Peugeot, Citroen, Vauxhall, DS and Fiat
- Perform software updates and diagnostic tasks
- Complete inspections and minor checks in line with recall instructions
- Undertake light mechanical repairs and adjustments
- Follow recall instructions and technical documentation precisely
- Accurately complete all paperwork and system updates
- Conduct quality checks after completion of work
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Report any issues or delays to supervisors
Skills and Experience:
- Essential: Mechanical or automotive background
- Comfortable using diagnostic and computer-based systems
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Desirable: Previous manufacturer recall experience
- Experience working with Stellantis vehicles
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Full UK driving licence
Training: Full training provided on-site. Ongoing support from experienced team members.
