Job Description Are you an experienced butcher looking for a new opportunity in a slaughter environment? We are currently seeking skilled butchers to join our team in Bedford. As a butcher, you will be working in a slaughter environment, playing a key role in the daily operations of our business while ensuring top-quality products for our customers.
Preparing and cutting meats to customer specifications in a slaughter environment.
Handling carcasses, boning, trimming, and processing various meats.
Maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in the work environment.
Assisting in stock control and inventory management.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a butcher or in a similar role, particularly in a slaughter environment.
Ability to handle all aspects of butchery, including boning, trimming, and preparing meats.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Pay & Benefits:
Starting pay of £12.71 per hour , with potential for higher pay based on experience.
Monday to Friday shifts: 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM .
Full-time, temporary to permanent position.
