Pay Rate: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour, depending on experience

Annual Salary: £29,000 - £33,500 per annum, depending on experience

Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm, with the option to start at 7:00am and finish at 4:30pm

Experienced Bench Joiner Required - Kettering

Quest Employment are currently recruiting for an experienced Bench Joiner to join a well-established bespoke joinery manufacturer based in Kettering. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Bench Joiner with previous joinery shop or workshop experience. The successful candidate will be joining a modern production factory, working as part of a skilled team producing high-quality bespoke joinery products. The role will involve manufacturing bespoke windows, doors, stairs and general joinery using modern joinery machinery. Candidates must be confident working from technical drawings and able to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.

Please note: Previous joinery shop or workshop experience is essential for this role.

The Role

  • Manufacturing bespoke joinery products to a high standard
  • Producing windows, doors, stairs and general bespoke joinery
  • Reading and working from technical drawings
  • Using modern joinery machinery and workshop equipment
  • Measuring, cutting, assembling and finishing timber components
  • Working independently to complete jobs accurately and efficiently
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and craftsmanship
  • Supporting the wider joinery team where required
  • Keeping the workshop clean, organised and safe
  • Following all health and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

  • Have previous Bench Joinery experience
  • Have worked in a joinery shop, workshop or production joinery environment
  • Can confidently read and work from drawings
  • Have experience producing bespoke joinery products
  • Are confident using joinery machinery and hand tools
  • Have strong attention to detail and pride in their work
  • Can work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Are reliable, punctual and hardworking
  • Can work well as part of a skilled team
  • Are able to reliably commute to Kettering, NN16

Experience Required

  • Minimum 2 years joinery experience
  • Previous bench joinery / workshop joinery experience is essential
  • Carpentry experience would be beneficial, but applicants must have proper workshop or joinery shop experience
