We are currently recruiting experienced Production Operatives to join a busy, fast-paced chilled food production facility in Brackley.

Shift & Pay

  • Shift: Twilight Shift
  • Working Days: Sunday-Thursday
  • Hours: 18:00-03:00
  • Pay Rate: £15.15 per hour + £2.00 shift allowance
  • Transport: Provided from Banbury

The Role

You will work as part of a production team ensuring all manufacturing, food safety, and health & safety standards are maintained at all times within a chilled food production environment.

Working Environment

  • Cold and hot conditions depending on department
  • Fast-paced production setting
  • Moving machinery and mechanical equipment
  • Moderate noise levels - hearing protection must be worn in all production areas

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out metal detection checks and complete all CCP paperwork
  • Conduct temperature checks every 30 minutes in Exit Chiller areas
  • Check temperatures of dolavs before entering fridge storage
  • Place dolavs on HOLD when temperatures exceed 4C and complete required paperwork
  • Cover colleagues during break times
  • Scan trays and pallet labels, ensuring stock is uploaded correctly to INVAR
  • Move pallets and dolavs ready for loading
  • Scan PLU codes, apply labels, and seal dolav liners
  • Deliver dolavs to designated fridge areas
  • Complete tray orders and grading to QAS standards
  • Box AA birds for open market and A-grade customer orders
  • Carry out strip out and rework duties
  • Calibrate scales
  • Operate manual handling equipment including: Counterbalance forklift, PPT, Pump trucks
  • Production machinery and systems (once trained)
  • Report spillages or machinery issues to management
  • Ensure correct procedures for coloured utensils, containers, and PPE are followed

  • Strong attention to detail and food safety standards
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
