Production Operative
Mixing & Compounding
to join a busy manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with experience in
blending, mixing or compounding , particularly within the
cosmetics, pharmaceutical or personal care industries . The Role You will be responsible for producing high-quality products using mixing vessels, following batch sheets, works orders and strict manufacturing procedures. You will set up and operate equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining quality, hygiene and production standards. Key Responsibilities Operate mixing and manufacturing equipment in line with
SOPs and batch instructions . Accurately complete paperwork, batch records and production documentation. Follow detailed mixing instructions, including monitoring
temperature, equipment and product quality . Take product samples at required stages for testing. Use
FLT or Stacker Truck
to load mixing vessels with prepared jobs and kits. Monitor production output and stock levels to help achieve targets. Follow
GMP, COSHH, EH&S and SSOW
requirements at all times. Maintain a clean and safe working environment using
Clean as You Go
principles. Use barcode scanners when dispensing and weighing materials. Report any issues that could affect
safety, quality or production
promptly. Work closely with colleagues, management and other departments to meet production and customer requirements. About You The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in
mixing, blending or compounding . Experience within
cosmetics, pharmaceuticals or personal care
is highly desirable. A valid
FLT CB and/or Stacker Truck licence . Good understanding of manufacturing processes and production procedures. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong problem-solving and organisational skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
