Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Director of Rooms to lead the Rooms Division of a luxury hotel. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional with a strong operational background and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Reporting to senior management, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services, and related departments, ensuring the highest standards of service, presentation, efficiency, and profitability are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the Rooms Division team
  • Oversee Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, and Concierge operations
  • Drive guest satisfaction and maintain exceptional service standards
  • Manage departmental budgets, labour costs, and operational performance
  • Ensure guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members across the division
  • Work closely with other department heads to deliver a seamless guest experience
  • Support revenue growth through effective room operations and upselling initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and operational procedures
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous experience in a senior Rooms Division, Hotel Operations, or Hotel Management role
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Commercially minded with experience managing budgets and KPIs
  • Passionate about luxury hospitality and guest service excellence
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
