We're recruiting for a Chef Manager to lead the kitchen within a welcoming residential care home in Chelmsford (CM2). This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on chef with strong leadership skills who is passionate about delivering nutritious, high-quality meals while managing the day-to-day running of a busy care home kitchen. Planning and preparing fresh, nutritious meals for residents.
Managing food ordering, stock control and kitchen budgets.
Ensuring high standards of food hygiene, health & safety and compliance.
Creating varied, balanced menus that cater to residents' dietary requirements.
Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen.
What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Chef Manager is essential.
Experience working within a residential care home or healthcare environment is highly desirable.
Strong leadership and organisational skills.
A passion for producing high-quality, home-cooked meals.
Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
