The Role
  • Leading the day-to-day operation of the café.
  • Managing, motivating and supporting the café team.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Overseeing food and drink service to ensure consistently high standards.
  • Managing stock levels, ordering supplies and reducing waste.
  • Ensuring food hygiene, health & safety and compliance standards are met.
  • Completing cashing up, basic administration and staff rotas.
  • Supporting community events and helping the café remain a valued local hub.
About You
  • Previous experience managing or supervising within a café, restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • A genuine passion for customer service and community engagement.
  • A hands-on leader who enjoys working alongside the team.
  • Organised, proactive and able to thrive in a busy environment.
  • Strong communication and people management skills.
  • Good knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
