Quest Employment is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and passionate Chef to join a well-established care home team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled chef who is committed to delivering high-quality meals and creating an exceptional dining experience for residents.

The Role As Chef, you will play a key role in preparing nutritious, high-quality meals while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen.

Preparing and cooking high-quality meals for residents.

Supporting the Chef Manager with the day-to-day management of the catering team.

Promoting and maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.

Carrying out risk assessments and ensuring the kitchen is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.

Taking responsibility for the kitchen and catering team in the Chef Manager's absence.

Assisting with menu planning and ensuring meals meet residents' dietary requirements and preferences.

Helping to provide an outstanding dining experience for residents every day.

About You We're looking for an experienced, proactive and enthusiastic Chef who is passionate about producing quality food and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.

Previous experience as a Chef within a catering, hospitality or care environment.

A valid Food Hygiene Certificate.

City & Guilds 706/1 or NVQ Level 2 in Catering/Hospitality (or equivalent).

Ideally, at least 3 years' experience in a similar Chef role.

A genuine passion for preparing fresh, nutritious, high-quality food.
