Quest Employment is currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy fresh produce distribution centre based in Grantham (NG32) .
If you're looking for a role offering consistent hours, weekly pay, and long-term work , this could be the perfect opportunity. Full training is provided, so previous experience isn't essential.
Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Production Operative, you'll play an important role in ensuring customer orders are prepared accurately and efficiently.
Your duties will include:
- Picking and packing fresh fruit and vegetables
- Preparing customer orders for dispatch
- Working within a chilled warehouse environment
- Loading and unloading products when required
- Carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting
- Completing general warehouse duties
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and health & safety
We're looking for candidates who are:
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping
- Comfortable working in a chilled environment
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Positive, hardworking and eager to learn
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Have good attention to detail
Previous experience in warehouse, production, packing, picking, food production or distribution is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
