Quest Employment is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Tree Officer to join a specialist Forestry and Arboricultural team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced arboriculture professional to contribute to the management, maintenance, and development of trees and woodlands across Leicestershire.

The Role

As a Tree Officer, you will provide professional forestry and arboricultural advice, carry out tree inspections, support tree planting initiatives, and assist with the management of tree and woodland assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out tree inspections on highways and other sites
  • Provide arboricultural advice to colleagues, contractors, landowners, and the public
  • Assist with tree planting schemes and woodland management projects
  • Prepare reports, specifications, and maintenance records
  • Monitor contractors and oversee tree-related works
  • Identify tree species, pests, diseases, and associated risks
  • Support emergency responses and planned environmental projects when required
