Quest Employment are urgently recruiting for 3 experienced Reach Truck Drivers to join the warehouse operation of a well-established fashion and lifestyle retail business based in Leicester, LE19. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Reach Truck Drivers looking for ongoing work in a busy warehouse environment.

The Role

As a Reach Truck Driver, you will play an important role in supporting the wider warehouse operation. This is not a Reach Truck-only position - you will also be expected to get involved with general warehouse duties, including:

  • Operating the Reach Truck safely and efficiently
  • Moving and storing stock within the warehouse
  • Picking and packing customer orders
  • Preparing stock for dispatch
  • Supporting the wider warehouse team with day-to-day operations
  • Working on the shop floor when required
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
  • Following all health & safety procedures and site processes

The successful candidates will be comfortable working across different areas of the warehouse and understand that being part of a warehouse team involves more than simply operating a Reach Truck.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year’s Reach Truck experience
  • Valid accredited Reach Truck licence – essential
  • In-house Reach Truck licences cannot be accepted
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Experience of picking and packing is desirable
  • Comfortable carrying out a variety of warehouse duties
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good understanding of warehouse health & safety
